Open to 1972 and older American cars. Over 60 trophies in many
catagories.
The show will have numerous auto-related vendors, a Car
Corral of special-interest cars for sale, an Artisans’ Faire, and a car
art exhibit, as well as a variety of foods such as hot dogs,hamburgers,
crepes, stuffed baked potatoes, brats, tri-tips, pulled pork, teriyaki
chicken, and Greek food, and drinks that include beer and wine.
A NASCAR
Camping World Series race car from the winning Bill McAnally team will
be on display and free pictures will be distributed. Joe "Candy Apple
Red" Bailon, the man who invented candy-apple red paint and built custom
cars for Hollywood movie stars like Zsa Zsa Gabor, Dean Martin and Sammy
Davis, Jr., will be there to chat and sign autographs as well as hand
out a trophy. Friday has a participant-only B-B-Q dinner/dance.
On
Saturday, the kids can compete in a Hot Wheels gravity drag race. There
will be live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. A poker run
and awards on Sunday. Entry fee is $40 for all three days, including two
Friday dinner tickets and a raffle ticket for a Chevy 350HO crate
engine.
The price of general admission is $5 for adults, which covers
both days, and children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult.
