This event is promoted by Henrik Forss and Korena Goldstein. Henrik grew up in Sweden and moved to the US some 10 years ago. He has since the early 90’s promoted both music and car events in Sweden as well as here in the US.

Korena, a local Vallejoan is the founder of MissyLu handbags and accessories and has promoted music events and clubs around the Bay Area in the past.

We have together well over 20 years of experience in promoting car and music events in Europe and the US. We are currently running the biggest rock’n’roll lifestyle festival in Sweden. (www.liveandjive.com)

We believe this event could have the potential to expand and become a great local happening. Similar car shows, in Antioch and Sacramento, that even target a more secluded group of people, with their pre-64, hot rods and customs ONLY rule, have indeed proven to be successful.

We however want to reach a wider crowd, and therefore have a pre-1970 limit. We will also focus on having a wide range of vintage bikes on display which is something mentioned shows has not put any effort in.

We will gather old stock car racers (jalopys) from the 50’s – 60’s era to exhibit along with pictures and memorabilia and even, if possible, the original drivers.

We have also made sure to book a handful of the most popular live bands on the scene right now.

Dusty Chance & The Allniters, and Texas Steve is from nearby Oakland / Alameda and will perform their true 50’s rockabilly with a great stage show. Both bands have released several records on L.A based famous WILD Records and is currently touring all over the world. Also on the bill from San Pablo, The Deadbeats, a wild energetic surf garage band.

Our goal is to prove to people that Vallejo indeed has a lot to offer, and we do believe that we, with our broad network of people and business associates can make this a big fun event that will become an annual happening for people to look forward to.
