Artists, crafts people, antique and classic
car buffs and sponsors are encouraged to signup
now for space at the 26th Annual Coyote
Howl and Car Show, taking place on Saturday,
May 21st at the Coulterville Park. This fun, free,
old fashioned, family oriented event… complete
with a big parade and car show, music, craft, art,
food and merchandise vendors, as well as the all important Howlin’ Contests … is
a great way to celebrate springtime!
Rates for parade entries, booths and the Car show have been kept at the
same low rates they have been for many years, just $10 for the parade (individual
or group), $25 for a booth and $20 for the car show (optional parade registration
included). New this year, the winning car entry will receive a handsome trophy,
thanks to sponsor, Host Film Production Equipment LLC out of Rio Rancho, New
Mexico. Sponsorships range from $100 on up. It is thanks to the generous
support of our many sponsors that this great event is free to everyone, yet serves
as an important fundraiser for the Northern Mariposa County History Center.
If you would like to secure a booth or a space in the car show or want to
take full advantage of a sponsorship by signing on now, contact Gail Tyler, Howl
Chair, at 209-878-3015 or email her at www.info@coultervillemusem.org
This event is sponsored by the Coyote Howl Committee, a 501c6 nonprofit
organization, with all proceeds contributed to the NMCHC to help keep their
doors open
Coyote Howl Dinner Dance
The popular Blue Box Bayou Band will one again return for this fun, relaxed
dinner dance which gets underway at 5:30 pm in the Coulter Café garden. A
“Howlin Good” meal and hot Cajun sounds will once again cap off the Coyote
Howl for just $16 per person. The Coulterville Community Club has signed on as
one of four needed evening entertainment sponsors. Dinner tickets will be
available at the Café and the History Center.
