available starting with 1990. This list is not an authoritative list from
Chevy, but has been compiled to assist you in finding years of trucks that have
the features you are looking for. While we have tried to make this list as
complete as possible, this should only be viewed as a guide.

In 1991 the S15 was discontinued and the Chevy Sonoma Pickup was introduced with
the same options as the S10 Pickup. The Sonoma also came as a Syclone Short bed
4WD with a V6 Turbo engine.
In 1992 Chevrolet added a "High Output" 4.3L engine option for it's S10 and
Sonoma trucks, and a V8 6.5L Turbo Diesel option for their Regular cab trucks.
In 1993 the V8 6.5L Turbo Diesel option was added to their Extended and Crew cab
trucks.
In 1996 a Third Door option was added to the S10, Sonoma and Extended cab lines
of trucks. A 6.5 liter diesel engine replaced the 6.2 liter diesel option for
the Regular and Extended cab pickups.
1999 marked the introduction of the Silverado and Sierra line
of Chevy Trucks.

In 2000 Chevy added a Forth Door option to their Silverado and Sierra Extended
cab trucks.
In 2001 a Crew Cab version of the Silverado and Sierra Trucks was added

V8 6.6 Liter Turbo Diesel
The V8 8.1 Liter engine replaced the previous 6.1 liter engine and the V8 6.6
liter turbo diesel was added to the entire Silverado and Sierra line.
Also in 2001 a Crew Cab, 4WD, V6 version was added to the S10 and Sonoma lines.
This came as LS/SLS Short bed.

In 2003 the Quadrasteer option was added to the Silverado and Sierra, extended
and crew cab pickups. And the new Silverado SS Extended cab AWD V8 was added as
a 1500 short bed.
In 2004 2 new lines of Chevy trucks was added.
