Dodge Trucks. You may also find our comparison of
the benefits of choosing either a gas or diesel truck helpful at
Gas versus Diesel Trucks.
Choosing between used Dodge trucks can be a difficult job. Often much of the
difficulty is not knowing what was available with different years and models of
trucks. We have endeavored to compile a quick reference to help you decide what
year and model truck best fits your needs.
This comparison is designed to give readers an idea of what features were
available on different models and the year that the feature was introduced.
Different years offered varying options, so this can in no way be considered a
detailed description of each variation.

In 1992 Dodge stopped making the Sport Cab, the SE Sport Cab, and the LE Sport
Cab for their Ram 50 trucks. Dodge also stopped producing the Sport Convertible
and Sport Club Cab models of their Dakota V6 pickups and the S series of their
D150 long and short bed pickups. With 1992 also came the addition of the D350
model and the 6 cyl 5.9 Liter engine to the Club Cab pickups.
In 1994 Dodge discontinued the rest of the Ram 50 line of trucks. The WS series
was also added to the Dakota link of pickups. The lines of regular cab pickups
where changed from D150, D250, and D350 to 1500, 2500, and 3500. A work special
addition was added along with a new V10 8.0 Liter engine. In 1995 a Club Cab
model was added to this line of trucks.
