Comparison of Kia SUV and Minivan Options and Models
On October 20 2006 Kia formally hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for its first US
assembly plant in West Point, Georgia. Kia has steadily gained a foothold in the
American Market with a philosophy of "building high value, high quality, safe and
dynamic vehicles". Kai's product line includes 3 SUVs, the Borrego, the Sorento,
and the Sportage as well as a Minivan, the Sedona. Other Kia vehicles include The
Amanti, Optima, Rio, Rio5 Rondo, Spectra and Spectra5.

The first year Kias wore offered in the United States was in 1995
Kia Sportage 4Wheel Drive SUV - 4cyl
- Sport Utility 4 Door
- EX Sport Utility with the following options.
- 2 Wheel Drive
- 4-cyl 2.0 liter DOHC
In 1996 The 4-cyl 2.o Liter DOHC option was dropped
In 1999 the Sport Utility Conversion 2 Door was added to the Sportage line.
In 2001 the Sportage Limited Sport Utility 4 door was added with and option of 2
Wheel Drive.
In 2002 The Ex Sport Utility and the Limited Sport Utility were dropped from the
Sportage line And the Sedona Minivan was offered.
The Sodona minivan came in an LX and an EX version with a V6 engine.
In 2003 The Kia Sportage was no longer offered (for 2 years). This year was also
the first year the Sorento SUV was offered.

In 2005 Kia once again offered the Kia Sportage.
