Link Exchange Requirements

Thank you for your interest in exchanging links with Northern California Used Cars. Following are the list of requirements for link exchanges. These are the rules that we adhere to for our site and we will only trade with sites that have similar standards.

• We will only trade with sites where our link would be placed on an automotive based site, preferably another Automotive Dealer. Likewise we will only link to sites related to the automotive industry in some way.
• No directories. The link page that you use to link back to us must be linked to from the entry page of the site and from most content pages on the site. In most cases this will be achieved by having a footer link on every page of your site going to the link page you will be adding our link to.
• The page must be indexed by Google and not be in the supplemental results. Pages in the supplemental results often take many months to be indexed by Google, which means they will not see our link for that time.
• No more than 25 outgoing links on the page. Navigation and other links that are internal to your site are not counted for this, only links to sites outside of your domain. Also, Google adwords, YPN, and MSN ads are not included in the count.
• All outgoing links on the page must be relevant my sites topic. If you are mixing in completely unrelated sites on your link page the trade will not be accepted.

We provide a high quality link and we are only expecting the same in return.

We do not consider Google PR to be of high concern in the trade, however having some PR (1+), being indexed, and being well linked by your site shows that your link page likely gets some traffic.

Our main goal is to share traffic with your site. If we do not have what our site visitors are looking for we would like to send them to you, likewise we would like you to do the same for us.

If you have a site and link page that (with in reason) follows these guidelines we would be happy to trade links with you.

Please be sure to include the URL of the page that you will be using to link back to us.

Another way you can have NorCalCars link to your automotive related website is to write User reviews of cars that you own or have driven. We reserve the right to reject poorly written reviews, links to websites that are not automotive related, or sites that are direct competitors of NorCalCars.
