I love my 1998 Cadillac Eldorado. It has a powerful 4.5 liter, eight cylinder engine that makes this sleek, classy car move very fast. The body is sturdy and can take a licking and keep on ticking. Only the driver’s side has an airbag. Although the Eldorado has a strong engine, the amount of steel surrounding the driver and occupants make this a very safe car to drive.
The Eldorado has front wheel drive, and leather interior that covers the wide, cushy seats. This is the most comfortable car I have ever driven or owned. The ride is extremely smooth. The cliché 'smooth as a Cadillac' is well earned. Even though my car Eldorado is an older model, it does not shake or vibrate. The power steering makes turning effortless. The interior offers all electronic accessories. Although this is a luxury, the accessories cause the battery to drain if I don’t drive it at least once a week. On the recommendation of a mechanic, I installed a battery cut off. That little ten dollar part immediately fixed the problem.
Engine room under the hood a Caldillac Eldorado is plentiful. Repairs are easy to make. Parts are reasonably priced, and accessible at any auto parts store. Poor fuel economy is an exchange for such a powerful engine, at 16 miles per gallon. The gas pedal is very sensitive, requiring only a small amount of pressure to react. A lead foot will certainly cause this monster to spin the tires.
