2006 My 2006 Dodge Durango offers oceans of room on the interior. I can easily fold down the rear seat for larger grocery items, and still have my infant's car seat safely strapped in. This vehicle is powerful, safe, and very sturdy. The car offers dual front air bags, power windows, power door locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, anti-lock breaks, and keyless entry.
This truck boasts 230 horses under its hood, and can tow up to 8,950 pounds when properly equipped. The gas mileage is poor with this eight cylinder 4.7 liter engine. However, with an engine this big, it is only expected. Getting into the Durango can be a challenge, but running boards and the interior grip handles make entry much easier. The factory tires are nicely chiseled for wet weather, snow, ice and off-road driving. The Durango has an automatic sensor that kicks into all wheel drive. I have never felt a slip on the road. In general, I feel extremely safe driving this vehicle. The gas usage is definitely worth that factor.
Highway driving is very smooth. So smooth, in fact, that I often use the cruise control to keep from becoming a felony speeder. Wind noise is a small problem. My truck corners like a boat, however, it is a large vehicle and I treat it as such. These are the only problems I can report regarding my Durango. The break system is awesome. It handles the truck's weight beautifully. I really love this Dodge truck.
