To Celebrate Our 10 Year Anniversary...
If you have shown a car at the Niello Concours at Serrano at any point over the last nine years,
you are invited to participate in The 2013 Tour. In the past, entry into The Tour has been limited
to motor cars that will be on display at the Niello Concours at Serrano. This year we are hoping all alumni will
join in the fun! Enjoy this opportunity to join us for this rolling celebration!
Fasion Show by Caren Templet
This year's Fashion Show will be an event unto itself! As a benefit for Boys & Girls Club, El Dorado County, Caren Templet will unveil her Fall/Winter 2013 Collection in a fashion show celebrating everything BOND...yes, as in James. Caren Templet is a British-born designer whose California-based fashion house is recognized for modern sophistication and creativity, with ready-to-wear, couture and accessory collections. Tickets to the Shaken not Stirred event will be sold separately and will include entree to the Niello Concours at Serrano event.
Touring Through the Shenandoah Valley and Amador Wine Country
In excited anticipation of the Niello Concours at Serrano on Sunday, The Tour puts the Concours entrants
on the road the day before. This drive will take a few chosen rare, historic and valuable cars on a
breathtaking tour in the heart of the historic Sierra foothill Gold Country. The drive will begin in
El Dorado Hills and meander along scenic back roads in some of California's most picturesque
rural settings. As participants tour the lush Shenandoah Valley wine country, home to a host
of award-winning wineries, the views enjoyed as they wind their way along country roads of oak
studded hillsides and the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains are truly beautiful. Visiting the wineries of
Amador County is a delight. Most are small family operations where unpretentious hospitality is the norm.
Lunch will be served at the breathtakingly beautiful Bella Piazza.
This truly "Tuscan" winery is a must see, to experience and feel the
romance of wine making. Participants will enjoy gourmet food and
wine while dining on the plaza style patio with breath taking views of
rolling hills & vineyards as their motorcar is on display for spectators
to get a glimpse of what can be expected at the Concours on Sunday.
Cars competing in Sunday's event are invited to partake in The Tour
as well as any car that has been an entrant in the Niello Concours at Serrano
over the last nine years. Email MMoore@theConcours.net for more information.
