The very popular, "Downtown Lincoln Car Show", just off Route 65, returns on Saturday, May 23rd. Lincoln is located 10 miles northwest of Roseville and 30 miles from Sacramento. Nestled in the Sacramento Valley, this show was hosted by the Kiwanis Club from 2002 -2006 and in 2007 the Chamber of Commerce hosted a Rib Festival during which the Rods & Relics Car Club organized the car show. This year the Rods & Relics Car Club is working in conjunction with the VFW Post 3010, to host a grand show, located between 5th & 6th Streets on E & F Streets in beautiful downtown Lincoln.

The Boy Scouts will be starting out the day with a hearty Pancake Breakfast at the VFW Post Headquarters. The Show will benefit the Lincoln High School Music Program and the band will be performing on show day. We will have also have music of the '50 & 60's played as you tour the tree shaded downtown streets to view the 150 beautiful classic cars and trucks of the pre '72 era. There will be luxury touring cars, custom cars, street rods, muscle cars all with fantastic paint jobs and distinctly trimmed. Some are rare and some are just beautiful, some unique, some are still every day drivers, but all classes of these vintage vehicles are special in some way.

Registration forms are available at Pre-registration is $25 before May 1st, & $30 after that date. Show categories will include 25 "Best of Lincoln" plaques for the best overall vehicles and trophies will be presented for the following categories, Best Paint, Best Engine, Best Interior, Best Under Construction, Best of Show and Club Participation.
