EV Charging Stations in Shasta County, CA
Shasta County is in the Heart of Northern California. Its central location makes it an ideal stopover for travelers and RVers heading up to Oregon or that plan on stopping and checking out the many natural wonders of the North State.
From Redding in the middle of Shasta County you have the choice of heading North on I-5 through Mount Shasta and into Oregon and eventually Washington. Heading west on Highway 299 you head across the mountains and over to the Pacific coastal towns of Eureka and Crescent City. East on either Highway 299 or Highway 44 takes you to Lassen Park, and renown camping areas in the various gold rush towns like Quincy in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
At this point there are not too many EV charging stations to choose from in Shasta County. Likely though you will find more if your final destination is camping at one of the many State and RV parks in Northern California. There is a growing list of RV parks offering EV Charging in the North State, you can find our list of them on our RV Parks page. This list of parks includes parks here in Redding, East in Quincy and West on the coast.
It's a good idea to call the EV charging location ahead of time to ensure the chargers are in operation and available for use.
If you know of a EV Charging station that is not on our list, please suggest it on our "Suggest an EV location" form. New Cities and Counties will be added as we collect the information on the Electric Car Charging Locations.
